Our free workshops are one of our ways of giving back to the local community and are a great opportunity for budding filmmakers to experience the fun of filmmaking in an encouraging and supportive environment. Our team bring real professional industry experience to the table, as well as background of film school teaching experience and all of our workshop leaders have PVG certificates from Disclosure Scotland for your peace of mind.

Across five weeks, attendees will learn camera operating, focus pulling, lighting and green screen, sound recording and boom operating, an introduction to camera dolly systems and finally work together to create their very own short film as a group.

At the end of the workshops, we’ll edit together the footage, make it available for download, and invite everyone back for a final film screening in the studio, so attendees can see their hard work on the big screen!
