An adaptation of the titular short story from award winning author, poet, and filmmaker Albrin Junior’s anthology novel ‘From Glasgow Without Love’.

Shooting in the Greater Glasgow area from 28th Feb - 1st March.

Principal Roles

  • Appearance:
    Mid to late 20s, Black - Nigerian.

    Bio:
    Outwardly stoic, Elvis is a man quietly under pressure. A Nigerian immigrant, he finds himself unable to confide in Molly on his own terms, instead struggling in silence and contributing to a growing rift in their relationship.

    Despite mutual love, this growing disconnect of communication and lived experience, cultural and emotional, is fast approaching breaking point.

    Shoot Requirements:

    • 2 days on-set

    • 8hr shoot days - 9AM-6PM with an hour for lunch

    • Fee: £15.00 ph / £120.00 pd

  • Appearance:
    Mid to late 20s, White - Scottish. Ideally with bleached blonde hair.

    Bio:
    Molly is messy and unpredictable. She loves Elvis, but finds herself stuck between two realities - the storybook ideal, and the cold hard reality she and Elvis exist within as she faces a pregnancy that they may not be able to afford.

    Fiery and impulsive, her relationship with Elvis is confused - at once both tender and genuine, and tense and fractured.

    Shoot Requirements:

    • 1 day on-set

    • 8hr shoot day - 9AM-6PM with an hour for lunch
